Slouchy Style
You're no slouch ‑- that's for sure ‑- but your boots this season can be. As the boho-chic look continues into fall, slouch boots are the perfect complement to a printed empire line jersey dress, jeans or skirts of any length. Your rule of thumb for the skirt and slouch-boot combo should be the shorter the skirt, the higher the boot. As with the other hot-list boots of the moment, don't limit yourself to brown or black. This season is all about color and there's no better way to wear it than with a fabulous slouch style.
In a recent discovery online, by mistake. I came across a beautiful fall boot. Colin Stuart 'The Devon' (victoriasecrets.com $149). You can wear it 3 ways: high, low, or scrunched in the middle. Imported suede or leather, I choose leather of course. With a 3 3/4" heel, perfect!
