Red Dress Funkshion

Go Red was the theme of the evening at the Red Dress Fashion Show to benefit the American Heart Association at the Setai Hotel as part of Funkshion Fashion Week. Did you know heart disease is the number one killer of women over the age of 25? More than cancer so this show is an important component of the American Heart Association’s campaign to “Go Red” to raise awareness and prevention of heart disease in women.

I am so glad I was able to be apart of it along with designers like Nicole Miller, Mariano Lumbi, Marchesa, Jason Studnicky and Richie Rich to name a few. Not to mention local celebrities such a Kristina Campins from Miami Social & The Apprentice, Anchel (wearing dress by Jason Studnicky) from America's Next Top Model and Telemundo legend Maria Celeste. Plus as special guest a few Heart Disease survivors themselves walked the runway! What a stunning line up, no?

Janzten also featured a special mini show of red swimwear to celebrate it's 10th birthday! The models were adored in Piaget Diamonds that left them sparkling. Motives by Loren Ridinger made them beautiful beyond words.

This was such a moving event. These women are all truly heros, who looked beyond stunning this evening.
