Malaika for LIFE

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kristen Kenney from Malaika for LIFE. A charity that gives children the chance to survive malaria, Africa’s deadliest yet treatable disease.

Malaika for LIFE is the voice for the African people, selling bracelets, handmade by the women to provide malaria medication and treatment to those in need. 100 % of the proceeds go towards the mission for the children.

3000 children die a day from malaria, every day the Huruma Hospital provides on average 40 patients with the life-saving treatment. Malaika for LIFE provides malaria medication from local pharmacies in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. They deliver the life-saving medication to local hospitals, clinics, villages and orphanages with the greatest need. As well as distributing the life-saving medication to malaria victims and patients.
