Tonight I am having Tex Mex night with some ladies, & margaritas are more than in order. But we're trying to be calorie-conscious these days, so we're trying this calorie-trimmed version that will quench our margarita craving and cut back on calories, cheers to that!
This recipe makes about 4 drinks
Step 1
In a pitcher, mix together:4 shots of tequila (preferably 100% Agave Tequila for the best taste)
3 shots of Triple Sec
3 shots of fresh-squeezed lime juice or store-bought lime juice
Step 2
Wet the rim of the 4 glass tumblers either with water, or for an extra-added kick, take a cut lime and rub it around the rim of each glass. Then dip each glass into the margarita salt.
Step 3
Fill each glass tumbler 3/4 of the way with crushed ice. Then, fill each glass 1/2 of the way with the margarita mixture. Lastly, fill the remainder of each glass with diet Fresca soda or diet lemon-lime soda and garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
